"Red" warning: The storm will "hit" with great force

According to the RHMZ, the announced showers will be accompanied locally by hail, strong or stormy winds and a large amount of precipitation in a short time, especially in Vojvodina and in the central part of Serbia.

For specific locations, emergency warnings will be issued one to two hours in advance.

Red weather alert for Banat, western and eastern Serbia and Pomoravlje

The red weather alert is in effect in Banat, western and eastern Serbia, as well as in Pomoravlje, according to the RHMZ website.

In Vojvodina, Mačva, Bor district, as well as in the area of ​​Belgrade, it will be moderately to completely cloudy in the morning, sometimes with the appearance of rain or showers.

During the day, there's a risk of bad weather in Vojvodina and in the central part of Serbia.

A warning of heavy rain was also issued for southern and eastern Serbia for Saturday and Sunday.

More rain for the weekend

During the weekend, in the south and east of Serbia, and especially on Sunday, more abundant precipitation is expected, from 40 to 80 mm in 48 hours, locally and more in the southeast of the country.
