Vučić responded to Dodik's urgent call; Republika Srpska was attacked today PHOTO

"They advised me and said that it is not the best time, to wait for some time to pass and then go to Banja Luka. I said that the moment is certainly not favorable and joyful, but if I could have been in Banja Luka a few days ago when we celebrated Sretenje together, our national holiday, when we were rejoicing, it would be a shame not to be in Banja Luka when it is difficult, not to be with our people," said Vučić.

"Today is a difficult day for the entire Serbian people. I know how difficult it is for Mile and before he confessed, I saw a tear in his eye and I know how much injustice hurts and oppresses, but this is the day that revealed much more. This is the day when Republika Srpska was attacked," he continued and pointed out that today they tried to tell the entire Serbian people that they can judge us without a court, that they can make decisions against the will of our people, without rights without justice.

"I am always in favor of the decisions we make being rational, always being absolutely calm, patient. I will convey that to President Dodik tonight as well, but there is only one thing you can always count on, and that is that I will not try to condition anyone with anything. I will say what I think and that is all," said Vučić.

Meeting at the Palace of the Republic

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić urgently arrived in Banja Luka at the invitation of Milorad Dodik, in order to meet after the verdict against the President of Republika Srpska.

The presidents of the Republic of Srpska and the Republic of Serbia are talking in the Palace of the Republic, after which a press conference will be held.

The meeting was also attended by the President of the Assembly of Srpska Nenad Stevandić, Prime Minister of the RS Radovan Višković, member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, Minister of Finance Siniša Mali. In front of the Palace of the Republic of Vučić, a large number of citizens welcomed Dodik after the first-instance verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Long live Srpska! Long live Serbia!"

President Aleksandar Vučić also spoke up on his Instagram account after addressing the gathered citizens together with Dodik.

Let's recall that the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik was found guilty before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for "disobeying the decision" of the so-called High Representative Christian Schmidt.

Dodik was sentenced to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity.
